If you are up for a young adult tearjerker movie, then the movie adaptation of John Green's famous novel, The Fault in Our Star's, is definitely a movie you don't want to miss. Green's tearjerker novel is primarily about a cancer stricken teenager Hazel (Shailene Woodley) who finds comfort in a cancer support group where she meets Augustus (Ansel Elgort). Given the slowly ticking time for Hazel and Gus, the two become inseparable, with the two making the most out of the remaining time left together.

An ever-still shot is released to the public as a sneak peek to what's reeling behind the camera; Woodley and Elgort are seen locked in an embrace, with the two gazing profoundly into each other's eyes. Fans of the book would realize that this is the scene where the two young lovers share a heart-wrenching moment together in the historical abode of Anne Frank. Green's backdrop of Anne Frank's house for the Gus and Hazel is seemingly apt-after all, didn't we all love Anne Frank for her honest and genuine portrayal of teenage love that she could not actualize because of the horrendous war?

Hazel and Gus face another kind of war-that of her slowly crippling cancer. The storyline of the movie features the struggle, mishaps and even beauty two young lovers share as they try to fathom love and death. Author John Greene was said to be present in most of the cast's taping. During the filming of the 'ever-still shot released to the public depicting the two in a tight hug, John Greene posted on Tumblr that "I was there the day they filmed this.... nd after every single take, I would be like, 'THAT WAS AWESOME! ALL MY DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE! MAKE THEM DO IT AGAIN!'

At least we are now assured that the movie is loyal to the book with John Greene's approval. In the meantime, pencil the movie release on your planner as it is set to be released in June.
