Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo is from the U.S. On Dec 19, 2012, Olivia Culpo of Cranston, Rhode Island, won the Miss Universe 2012 crown bringing the most coveted title back to the Americans after 15 years. Today, all eyes are fixated on Erin Brady to win again the title.

The 25-year-old from East Hampton is an accountant from Prudential Financial in Hartford when she won the pageant in June 2013. About 88 beauty queens from around the world descended to compete for the title of Miss Universe. Will Brady be able to defeat stunning divas from across 88 nations?

The Miss Universe contest is more than a beauty pageant. Women who aspire to become Miss Universe must be intellectual, courteous and cultured. Most of the time, a candidate may not won because she did not give a universal answer during the question-and-answer portion. This segment of competition has held less weight during recent pageants than it did in the 20th century. Delegates also participate in swimsuit and evening gown competitions.

Brady tweeted this month's cover of Pageantry Magazine, saying she was "so happy right now." She also informed her followers that she met Donald Trump, Giuliana Rancic and the Jonas Brothers.

1. Erin Brady is engaged to Tony Capasso.

Tony is the handsome guy settled in Hartford, CT, and holds a BA Science and Management from CCSU and studied management at Xavier. He is president at Capasso Enterprises and Enterprise Property Development. He founded eFunder Inc. and also works in the social marketing department at dreamride.org. Some of Tony's friends used Twitter to congratulate him and Erin. They described her at Tony Capasso's fiancée:

2. The Miss Universe Pageant date clashed with her wedding date.

3. Brady has bad childhood as she grew up in an abusive home.

Brady, in earlier interviews, has revealed that her family has suffered due to her father's alcoholism and substance abuse. "[It has been a] struggle but it shaped who I am. Sometimes I feel like a 35-year-old in a 25-year-old body but the struggles helped me be better," she said in an interview.

4. She has a good academic record.

She graduated with a degree in finance and a minor in criminal justice from Central Connecticut State University.

5. Brady is a perfect blend of beauty and brains.

Currently, she is a financial accountant for Prudential Retirement in Hartford. She aspires to get her MBA soon and getting involved with Pension Risk Transfers.

6. Twitter fans are not delighted with her.

Upon answering questions with regard to social media, Brady revealed she is a people person and would much rather talk to someone on the phone as opposed to using social media. But some of her young fans are not happy with that.

"Miss Connecticut just said she hates twitter and that we're all dumb. #MissUSA," One of the fans tweeted his anger.
