Marshall Mathers III, who is professionally known as Eminem, is still the favourite “white boy” of his protégé Curtis James Jackson III, who is professionally known as 50 Cent. The two rappers collaborated in the song “Patiently Waiting,” which is from the 2003 album “Get Rich or Die Tryin.’”

“Hey Em, you know you my favorite white boy, right?” 50 Cent raps n the opening part of “Patiently Waiting.” "I, I owe you for this one.”

After several years, 50 Cent took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Eminem. He included “Patiently Waiting” lyrics in the caption and promoted the vodka brand he is endorsing, which is Effen Vodka.

Eminem has yet to respond to 50 Cent’s tribute to him on Instagram. It is also not clear whether or not the two rappers met during the holidays.

Meanwhile, before the holidays, 50 Cent’s mansion at 50 Poplar Hill Road in Farmington, Connecticut was listed for rent at US$100,000 (AU$141337.76) a month. The property is a 50,000-square-foot estate with a night club, an indoor pool, 21 bedrooms and 25 bathrooms, according to Hartford Courant.

In other news, fans of 50 Cent may avail of the curry named after him on the menu of the Indian restaurant Dabbawal for NE1 Newcastle Restaurant Week in January 2016. The event will run from Jan. 18 to Jan. 24.

“We’re very proud to maintain our relationship with NE1 and NE1 Newcastle Restaurant Week,” Chronicle Live quoted Dabbawal owner Jaf Ali as saying. He is the winner of the Best Casual Dining Restaurant at the British Curry Awards 2015 in the United Kingdom.
