Drake and Future are currently on their Summer Sixteen Tour, of which the fun suddenly stopped when millions were stolen from their tour bus. This happened while the two rappers were in Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix.

On Sept. 6, Drake and Future stopped by Phoenix for a scheduled performance on their Summer Sixteen tour. Drake went on stage first with his single, “Summer Sixteen.” He followed it up with several other songs such as “Hotline Bling,” and “For Free.” After which, Future took to the stage to perform his songs.

Unfortunately for the two stars, the end of their amazing performances were overshadowed by what they found out. A thief had found their way into a tour bus and correspondingly took a briefcase worth millions.

A video from TMZ surfaced online from early that Wednesday morning, showing a very upset Drake. The stolen items were mostly jewellery that belonged to Future The Prince, but Drake evidently took it to heart. The footage only caught Drake as he looked frustrated upon learning about the incident.

As the Phoenix Police Department confirmed to E! News, the theft happened between 10 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday night. Police reports stated that a thief entered the bus and took a briefcase with him. Inside were items that have an estimated value of US$3 million (AU$4 million).

Phoenix police have since arrested a suspect, Travion King. King was found inside the campus of Arizona State University on Wednesday afternoon. Though authorities described him as a “transient” individual, it was confirmed that King had worked for the arena during past concerts. However, he was not on duty during the time of the heist.

Upon his arrest, the stolen briefcase was retrieved, which still held all the stolen content. King is being charged for trespassing and felony burglary.
