The march of the darkness waits for no man. It’s once again time for the battle-hardened Guardians of “Destiny” to turn their weary eyes towards this week’s Crucible events, Nightfall and Weekly Heroic strikes.

The leaks come via the ever-reliable data-miner Megamanexe4, via the “Destiny” Reddit. Megamanexe4 indicates that this week’s Nightfall will see Guardians take on the Nexus, in the Ishtar Sink, on Venus. Active modifiers will include Epic, Nightfall, Void Burn, Angry and Juggler, mixing things up significantly from last week. As noted by PlayStation Universe, the Heroic strike is the same mission, except Heroic and Juggler modifiers are active. The Vex Axis Mind Sekrion isn’t a particularly difficult boss, but overconfidence is a quick way to lose the battle.

While Megamanexe4 notes Salvage mode will feature in this week’s Crucible events, the official Bungie blog confirms the return of Inferno Clash mode. Salvage sees teams of three race to capture and hold relics, while Inferno is a 6v6 deathmatch. Both modes see level advantages completely disabled, so Fireteams will have to work well together. Additionally, Inferno mode will feature the following modifiers; No Tracker, Simplified Scoring, Less Heavy Ammo and Communication. In addition, Bungie has confirmed the following maps for action:

- The Anomaly

- Firebase Delphi

- Twilight Gap

- Rusted Lands

- Shores of Time

- Blind Watch

- Asylum

- The Burning Shrine

- The Cauldron

- Pantheon

“Destiny” players will be pleased to hear that the upcoming 1.1.2 update will add support for the recently implemented suspend/resume feature on PS4. Suspend/resume allows gamers to pause their game at any time, and put the PS4 into rest mode, then resume from the same spot when they please. News of the added functionality comes via a note on the “Destiny” help page.

One update that will change the way some players enjoy “Destiny” is support for previously reported Vault space increases on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Polygon reports that Bungie simply ran into memory limitations on the older hardware decided that they had to cut the item comparison feature within the Vault itself. Item comparison will still work as intended in other areas.

“We had a choice, leave the Vault as-is, or find some kind of compromise to enable it safely. We weighed the options, with player feedback in mind and decided to move forward with the expansion by disabling the item comparison feature within the Vault on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360,” said Brad Fish, the "Destiny" engineering lead for user interface.

Fish went on to note that at the moment, very few players have completely full Vaults, but added that players at or above level 30 have four or fewer free spaces. It also stands to reason that as “Destiny” continues to grow and as new expansions, such as the upcoming “House of Wolves” DLC are released, the need for increased Vault space will trump the inconvenience of being able to compare items within that specific area.
