Known for his role as “Half Sack” Epps in the FX biker drama series “Sons of Anarchy,” Johnny Lewis has been dead for more than two years but that doesn’t stop his parents to sue him. The late actor was sued by his own parents after he failed to pay them the remaining amount of his loan.

Michael Lewis and Divona Lewis, parents of Johnny Lewis, loaned the actor the amount of $60,000 two weeks before his death to help him cover various expenses, including the actor’s court and legal costs, Screen Actors Guild (SAG) dues, bail bonds and medical care. Lewis’ company, Highbrow Punk Inc., agreed to settle the dues but only paid $23,000 back, according to The Wrap.

Now the actor’s parents are going after his company and Brendan P. Carmody, the administrator of the Lewis’ estate, for the remaining balance of his loan. Based on the court documents obtained by the publication, the actor’s unpaid debt amounts to more than $36,000.

Dead at 28, the blond-haired star wrapped up his role as one-testicled wanna-be-biker in “Sons of Anarchy” after the show’s 2009 season. The actor was found dead in the driveway after he leaped or fallen from the room in September 2012, after he allegedly killed Catherine Davis, 81, his Los Angeles land lady.

“We still don’t have a motive, whether this was just the random act of somebody acting crazy or whether there was some type of altercation or dispute,” according to LAPD Commander Andrew Smith in an interview posted on NY Daily News.

He reportedly dismembered his landlady’s cat after he smashed her furniture and strangled her to death. The actor’s death was the result of a fall after a rampage at the los Feliz home and based on coroner’s report there were no drugs in his system at the time of his death.

Lewis died six days after he was released from jail on burglary and assault convictions.

The late star used to date “Roar” singer Katy Perry and had recurring roles on the TV series “The O.C.” and “American Dream.” He also star in 2007’s “Alien vs. Predator – Requiem.”
