The “Dawn of War 3” game is slowly reaching its debut and gamers cannot wait to see what’s in store for them. Apparently, there is a lot to look forward to with this game. The game by Relic Entertainment includes three available editions, new gameplay, multiplayer mode, game’s units and races and many more.

Release date and pre-order freebies

The “Dawn of War 3” release date is still set for April 27. But those who would want a sure buy of the game can do so by simply pre-ordering it. The pre-order purchase will also give additional freebies to customers. These include the following skins listed below.

  • Dark Queen skin for Lady Solaria (Imperial Knight)
  • Ghost Seer skin for Farseer Taldeer (Wraithknight)
  • Big Kustom skin for Beauty (Morkanaut)

Another thing to look forward to is the multiple editions of the franchise. The game is available in three editions, mainly the Collector’s Edition, the Limited Edition and the Standard Edition.

Collector's Edition will include the following:

  • Premium disc book
  • Lenticular art card
  • Official soundtrack
  • Godsplitter Daemon Hammer replica
  • Three mounted cloth faction banners
  • Masters of War Skin Pack

Limited Edition will include the following:

  • Premium disc book
  • Lenticular art card
  • Official soundtrack

All editions pre-ordered before the game’s release will include the Masters of War Skin Pack, per a “Dawn of War” forum.

Gameplay, expansion and characters

The upcoming game promises to bring a mix of all the previous franchise of the game. The game will have the epic scale of “Dawn of War” combined with the customisation and elite heroes of “Dawn of War II.” There will also be larger units and weaponry, which makes the game uniquely fresh but still pay homage to its origins.

The question of possible expansion was also addressed. Since the game will be a bigger and more diverse version of the previous titles, a downloadable content (DLC) is not far from possible. But this option will still depend on how players will welcome the game and how the game will perform once it is released.

As for the list of units, there will be several groups available in the game as confirmed by the team from Relic Entertainment. The list includes elite units that can be selected prior to the game and the line units that will be present in each battle and used as frontliners.

Similar to those in the first and second “Dawn Of War,” these units have their own corresponding sub-units. These sub-units will also have their own set of specialties and abilities that will be deemed useful in each battle, depending on the situation. There will be a total of three factions, including the Space Marines, the Orkz and the Eldar, per Steam.

These are just some of the features that “Dawn of War 3” has to offer. To see the complete list of details regarding the game and its pre-purchase can be found on Steam.
