Australian couple Zoe Ventoura and Daniel Macpherson tied the knot last Thursday in a secret ceremony held at Noosa, Queensland. While most celebrity couples sell their wedding photographs, this couple has chosen social media to announce they are married. The low-profile wedding saw Mr. Daniel Macpherson’s wife, a Perth born actress in a lace-detailed gown that went perfectly with her slender frame. Macpherson looked most handsome in a vintage tartan suit. The ceremony was attended by close family and friends.

According to The Daily Telegraph, The 35-year-old actor and TV presenter and his wife of Greek descent announced their engagement on social media in January. Macpherson proposed to Ventoura in Noosa. The couple met in 2011 at the set of Channel Seven TV drama “Wild Boys.” Before marriage, they were splitting their time between Sydney and LA. He owns a home in Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

“Thanks for all the well wishes! We are very happy,” Macpherson had tweeted.

In August, Macpherson was asked to comment on getting engaged and his wedding plans.

“I thought getting engaged would take the pressure off, but it’s done the opposite. The plan is to get married in the first half of next year, if we can find the time and a venue. We are getting plenty of pressure from both mothers,” he had said.

Both Macpherson and Ventoura have an extremely busy year ahead. Macpherson has recently wrapped production on SFv1 and Ventoura will be appearing in “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.”

Woman’s Day reported that Macpherson had said in May that they had been entertainment gypsies for 12 months with little time for each other. However, the two seem to have made their relationship work and culminate into marriage.

Macpherson tweeted a beautiful black and white picture of the two holding hands and totally into each other yesterday.

“Mr & Mrs ..... Proud to say that Zoe and I were married last Thursday in a small celebration, surrounded by family, friends and lots of love,” Macpherson captioned the picture.

He posted the same photo on Instagram.
