In Week 8 on "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 19 (2014) seven remaining couples performed in the segment called "Dynamic Duos." Those who performed were: Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd, Bethany Mota and Derek Hough, Janel Parrish and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson, Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas, Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev and Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater.

Leading the scoreboard with 40 points were Janel and Val. The couple that scored lowest and got eliminated was Michael and Emma. The show also saw first round of dance-offs of the entire season.

Ninth week of ABC's popular dancing competition will see the performance of the remaining six couples before they face the elimination. ABC has released synopsis of the upcoming episode of "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) teasing exciting spoilers on its official website. According to the report, the show features "America's Choice" week wherein viewers chose the dance style and the songs for their favourite couples through voting on social media.

In individual couple dance round, Tommy and Peta and Bethany and Derek will perform Viennese Waltz to the tune of "Trouble" and "Say You Love Me," respectively. Alfonso and Witney will foxtrot to the tune of "Ain't That a Kick in the Head" and Lea and Artem will do Samba on "Animals." Sadie and Mark perform Jive to the tune of "1,2,3 Turnaround" and Janel and Val perform quickstep routine on "Hey Boy! Hey Girl!."

Fun gets doubled when these couples are joined by another dance pro for trio performance round. Tommy and Peta perform Jazz alongside Sharna. Bethany and Derek are joined by Tony Dovolani to do an Argentine Tango routine. Janel and Val are joined by Keo Motsepe to perform Salsa. Alfonso and Witney with Lindsay Arnold and Lea and Artem with Henry perform Paso Doble. And Sadie and Mark perform foxtrot with Emma Slater. At the end of the night, judges will pass their judgment and eliminations will be conducted. One out of six couples will be sent packing while the remaining five will advance to the next level.
