Apart from the PS4 and the Xbox One, another long-standing also ensued, this time for the Marvel and DC territories. Given DC's recent announcement about the Man of Steel sequel being a tag-team of Superman and Batman, Marvel also stepped up its game to showcase some tidbits about the two-years-in-the-making Avengers sequel.

Part of Marvel's many phases for its Avengers plan has been revealed, this time tagging the sequel to be Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.

And according to Deadline, Marvel has also revealed that they will be basing the story on the 10-issue comic book crossover of the same title, so those who want to know how the story will go and how the villains will be like should go check out the limited series.

A May 1, 2015 release date has been specified for Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. While it's still two years from today, Marvel has a lot of movies in store, starting with this year's Thor: The Dark Underworld, premiering November 8.

Marvel has also showcased some footage at the Comic-Con on some of its lineup movies, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Next season for The Walking Dead game and series, revealed

The Comic-Con was also a hotspot for upcoming seasons of favorite TV series, with The Walking Dead making some noise for both the second season of its video game from Telltale Games and the fourth season from AMC.

Fans of the game who rejoiced when the 400 Days DLC was released just this month would also be happy to know that one character has already been confirmed to make an appearance in the second season.

The character would be Clementine, whom developers have already assured fans would be part of Season Two. Another character who may have a possible appearance is Kenny, though according to Joystiq, Dan Connors, Telltale Games CEO, has told them at the San Diego Comic-Con that the character may be "explored."

As far as the TV series is concerned, fans got a glimpse of the first footage of Season 4. It seems that this season would not only be action-packed, but also have character-driven moments, a far cry from how distant the likes of Rick and the on-the-road to becoming a sociopath Carl had been last season.

Hollywood Reporter got to interview Scott Gimple, who is the season 4 showrunner and debutant of the Comic-Con. In a nutshell, the season was going to be crazy.

"It's an escalation. They might get a little comfortable, but then things might get a little dangerous," Gimple said to Hollywood Reporter.

"The brutality of pushing people away in season three wasn't working out for [Rick] and was cataclysmic for his family. When we meet them all in season four, there is a whole new community in the prison and friction between certain characters. It makes for incredible character-driven scenes."
