Six friends, all famous movie actors, portray their real selves in the comedy apocalypse horror movie "This Is The End". James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson stars with Seth Rogen, who co-wrote and directed the film.

In the movie, Franco gives a celebrity-heavy housewarming party, attended by Emma Watson, Rihanna, Michael Cera, Paul Rudd, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jason Segel and their other famous friends, on the night of the apocalypse.

An earthquake ensues and we see Rihanna, Segel, Cera, Mindy Kaling, Aziz Anzari and other celebrities get killed. What happens next is a riot filled with explosions, fires, beams of blue light and other horrors that only happens when we see an apocalypse movie; but explores the famous survivors' anxieties and insecurities of being who they are as they face the end of the world.

"This Is The End" is Rogen's directorial debut and has co-written the movie with Evan Goldberg, who was also his writing partner for the comedy movies "Superbad" and "Pineapple Express".

The whole production was given a budget of $31 million. Asked about how they managed to cast all famous celebrities, Goldberg said, ""We lucked out that they were all available. I honestly don't know if we could get the guys together."

Goldberg revealed "This Is The End" might have a sequel. ""We actually talked about doing a sequel where it starts at the premiere of This is the End," he said.
