"Captain America" himself has decided to clear the rumors that have been spreading around that Evans would be retiring after "Avengers 3."

Evans had cleared these rumors during his interview on "Good Morning America." The rumors had begun after his interview with "Variety." The star had said that these were not true and that he did try directing and liked it very much but it doesn't mean that he has any plans of retiring from acting.

Chris Evans had said during the interview with "Variety" that he cannot really see himself acting outside of what he is has signed up to do:

"If I'm acting at all, it's going to be under a Marvel contract, or I'm going to be directing, I can't see myself pursuing acting strictly outside of what I'm contractually obligated to do."

This was where the rumors on "Captain America's" retirement from acting but Evans had cleared it saying:

"You say one thing in an interview. I said I directed last year and I really responded to it, I really enjoyed it and I'd love to focus a little more on that, then [I'm] retiring, hanging up the shoes I guess. By no means am I planning on retiring. It's kind of a silly statement."

Well fans and ladies, we will sure to see the actor in "Avengers 3" and possibly in "Captain America 3." Chris Evans surely makes a great actor and has owned the role of "Captain America." The movie is still out in theaters.

The movie is said to have opened many questions on the upcoming movies of Marvel such as "Iron Man 3," "Avengers 3," and many more other movies. A great thing for the fans who cannot contain their excitement.
