The decision of China to work with Europe and purchase Euro bonds from countries affected by the sovereign debt crisis within its capability is part of its foreign aid policy which is to provide foreign aid without imposing any political stipulations.

Earlier, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has declared that his government was willing to support the EU provided European leaders undertake measures to enhance economic relations with China which includes a market economy status which could fortify Beijing's position in international trade.

Many economic analysts believe that as one of the "fastest growing primary economies in the world," China would always grab the chance to share opportunities with other nations and pour in efforts for the balanced development of the global economy.

The China Daily mentioned that among the salient features of China's foreign assistance policies is that in providing "foreign aid, it maintains that foreign aid is mutual help between countries, focuses on practical effects, accommodates recipient countries' interests, and strives to promote friendly bilateral relations and mutual benefit through economic and technical cooperation with other developing countries."

A few months ago, the Telegraph reported that China has shown enthusiasm in doing deals with Europe like forging trade deals with Hungary and financing the country's debt as well as strengthening UK-China ties.

The Business Spectator said President Nicolas Sarkozy of France is agreeable to China getting involved in the attempt to resolve the Euro zone debt crisis through the bolstering of its rescue fund.

Sarkozy revealed that he will talk to Chinese President Hu Jintao, the report said.

Russia is purportedly agreeable to help but through the International Monetary Fund instead of the European Financial Stability Facility.

Meanwhile, a report from Bloomberg mentioned that Chinese Central Bank deputy governor Yi Gang remarked that China has consistently channelled investments towards Europe and will continue doing so since a flourishing European economy is also beneficial to the whole world.

China remains upbeat that the global economy will not go down into another recession since collaboration among nations a correct mixture of sound policies would enable nations to cope with the debt crisis.

An official from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said that China should help Europe tackle the sovereign debt problem since it is the duty of her nation to assist Europe within its capacity, according to the Wall Street Journal.
