The power of three is back. The "Charmed" is set to have a reboot of the original three sisters that are all witches.

The CBS original hit series about three powerful witch sisters is getting a reboot by CBS and it would not include the original cast. The trio that made it popular, Piper, Paige and Phoebe will not be part of the reboot, which would not really make it the hit "witch" series that everyone loved.

If you think this is something that CBS shouldn't do at least without the original stars of the hit series, you should see how the original stars reacted.

Alyssa Milano, the star who played Phoebe in the hit series took to twitter saying:

"The thing about them doing a #charmed reboot is... it just... it feels like yesterday. It feels too close."

She may have been a little too good with her words unlike fellow 'sister' in the series, Rose McGowan who also tweeted about the reboot saying:

"lame lame lame lamertons. They really are running out of ideas in Hollywood,"

Holly Marie Combs who was the eldest "Charmed" sister Piper did not give her reaction yet about the reboot of the popular series. Being one of the lead characters in the successful 8-season series, Combs surely has a lot to say about the series.

Fans have also voiced their frustration about the 'new' take on the series. It would be too much if they tried to toy with the original series that was a hit throughout all it's seasons.

Most fans are saying that a remake of the original series would be despicable and disrespectful to the hit original series, but a movie about the series would be something that is fresh, which people would want to see.

As of now, CBS is in the works to have the series remade and well many think it wouldn't be a good idea. Let's see if CBS realizes that something as good as this series shouldn't be messed with.
