Bruce Jenner reportedly figured in a car crash with his son Burt Jenner during the annual Baja 1000 off-road race held last Thursday, Nov. 13. The father and son both emerged unhurt from the accident but they had reportedly damaged their $500,000 truck.

In an interview with E News, Burt said that it had always been his dream to race with his dad. He also said that they had a chance to do it before but his other brother Brody was too scared to do it. He repeated the sentiment again in an Instagram post where he shared a photo of their green truck at the start of the race. He said: "Can't really describe what a rush the beginning of the race was... I had dreamt of this for decades."

The dream didn't quite end well though as the pair encountered problems. The race was supposed to run for a distance of 1,200 miles from Ensenada to La Paz. The Jenners, however, had problems as early as mile 140 where they got a flat tire. Burt Jenner was on the wheel at the time but they decided to switch up when they started running again. Unfortunately, with Bruce on the wheel this time, the pair encountered another problem when they crashed on mile 178.

The truck ended up on its side after the accident and Burt said that the brake line and the power steering were both broken at this point. He shared on his Instagram account a photo of the truck as it was lying on its side. He further explained that they had to get out of the truck as it lay on its side.

He shared yet another interesting post stating that the people in the photo helped them out when they were stuck in the desert with a broken truck. He said that they were offered pizza and some beers and most importantly, a radio so that they could communicate with their team. Burt Also said that even though they only made it to the 207 mile mark because of the accident, the experience was unforgettable and they made a lot of new friends.

Bruce Jenner has been busy doing the things that he loves ever since his split from wife of 23 years, Kris Jenner. He has been spotted out in the golf course and out on the beach very often and he has recently decided to go back to one of his passions, car racing. When he was younger, Bruce raced competitively in the iMSA Camet GT series back in the 1980s.
