Emmy winner Bob Odenkirk collapsed while filming the final season of 'Better Call Saul'

Bob Odenkirk's son, Nate, shared a health update about the actor after he collapsed on the set of "Better Call Saul" on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old actor took to Twitter on Wednesday to inform everyone that his dad is "going to be okay."

Many celebrities reacted and wished him a speedy recovery.

Actor Adam Scott wrote, "F--king WHEW," while actor Michael McKean, who played Bob's elder brother in the "Breaking Bad" spin-off, commented, "Thanks, Nate. Love him up good, hear?"

The writer of "Better Call Saul" and "Breaking Bad" series, Peter Gould, also thanked Nate for sharing an update.

The actor's comedy partner on "Mr. Show," David Cross, tweeted, "I will share what I know when I can but Bob is one of the strongest people I know both physically and spiritually. He WILL get through this."

Bob's family also issued an official statement Wednesday afternoon revealing that the actor had a heart-related incident.

"We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident," the statement read, multiple outlets reported. "He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew, and producers who have stayed by his side. The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery."

The 58-year-old actor collapsed on the set while filming in New Mexico. The crew members immediately called an ambulance and rushed him to the hospital. The actor began filming season 6 of the popular franchise on March 10 and the series was expected to finish within eight months.

Bob recently announced that his memoir would release on Jan. 18 next year. "I wrote a book about my various victories and travails in the business of show!" the actor wrote on his Instagram.

Bob shares two kids, Nate and 20-year-old Erin Odenkirk, with his wife, Naomi Odenkirk. The couple got married in 1997.
