"Blue Bloods" Season 5 will air the episode “In the Box” on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT on the CBS Television Network. It will feature the Reagan family, including Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), Erin (Bridget Moynahan), Frank (Tom Selleck), Henry (Len Cariou), Jack (Tony Terraciano), Sean (Andrew Terraciano) and Jamie (Will Estes). This episode is about a man who will hold Det. Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) hostage while they are in an interrogation room.

“In The Box” is directed by Holly Dale and written by Brian Burns. TV Guide reports that in this episode, an anxious man who wants to see his daughter unexpectedly holds Baez hostage as she serves him with a restraining order. Meanwhile, Garrett Moore’s (Gregory Jbara) son will get into trouble. Garrett will ask Frank for help to drop the charges against his son. But, Frank will have ethical issues about the said favour.

The Internet Movie Database, or IMDb, also reports that Dominic Fumusa (Anthony Drake), Jessica Blank (Heather Drake), Venida Evans (Mrs. Alice Jackson), John DeBlasio (Union Leader), Ruari Fay (Frat Boy), Nicolette Pierini (Penelope Drake), Chris Tera (Bomb Squad), Mark Richard Goldman (Coffee Shop Patron - uncredited), Alex Ziwak (Undercover Detective - uncredited) and Jerry Todisco (Undercover Cop - uncredited) will make an appearance in this episode.

A preview video of this episode was posted on the show’s official YouTube channel. It shows scenes featuring Danny trying to save his partner from getting killed by the man who took her as his hostage. The guy is demanding something from Danny and he expects it to be given to him in an hour. It also shows several snipers ready to take out the said man.
