The episode 3 of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 8 is titled "The First Pitch Insufficiency." This episode features two story lines. Astronaut Howard is selected to throw out the first pitch of a game and Sheldon claims that his relationship with Amy is superior to the other couples, mainly Leonard and Penny. He will be seen rating the four couples -- Shamy, Howard and Bernadette, Raj and Emily and Lenny.

According to the spoilers leaked online, he will put Lenny at the bottom in his ranking. Leonard will be seen protesting that. And, when Sheldon tells him that he and Amy have scored high in the Berscheid, Snyder, and Omoto's relationship test, Leonard, too, would want to take the test with Penny, the spoilers suggest. This will lead to Penny and Leonard admitting to each other that they are worried about their relationship as they have nothing in common, the spoilers reveal.

It looks like Penny is yet to start working as a sales pharmaceutical representative. As previously reported, Penny will be doing great in her new job and will be seen making good money. This will lead to friction in Penny and Leonard's relationship. However, in this episode, Leonard states that marriage is scary but that does not mean he does not want to tie the knot, according to the spoilers. He adds that he wants to get married to Penny and face all the problems. This will make Amy wish that she would like Sheldon to say something as sweet as Leonard. Spoilers tell that Sheldon will remind her about their high score.

Meanwhile, Howard will get heckled by Raj and Bernadette will find his running funny. And, astronaut Mike Massimino will suggest that Howard backs out from throwing up the first pitch, as he couldn't even throw a pen when they were in the space station, according to the leak spoilers.
