The Joker will reportedly have a cameo scene in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.” It’s believed Jared Leto will shoot some few scenes that show how Batman’s sidekick, Robin, was killed. [Spoiler Alert]

According to reports, Jared Leto will first make his debut as The Joker in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Per Movieweb, the actor will star in an action sequence that pays homage to the 1998 comic “A Death in the Family.” The Joker will reportedly appear in a flashback scene where he is seen killing Jason Todd a.k.a. Robin.

This flashback scene somehow relates to a previous “Suicide Squad” report from movie scoopster Umberto Gonzalez. Gonzalez on his Instagram post said that when The Joker is introduced in the film he has already committed numerous crimes. This includes killing off one of Batman’s sidekicks. However, it wasn’t revealed which Robin, whether Jason Todd or Dick Grayson, the villain has killed.

This flashback scene of Robin’s death in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” will reportedly be triggered by a memorabilia kept inside a glass casket on the Wayne estate. The sight of Jason Todd’s costume preserved inside would trigger the flashback. According to Screenrant, Jason Todd’s death at the hands of The Joker had always haunted Batman since it was considered to be the caped crusader’s single greatest failure.

However, Jason Todd’s flashback scene in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” contradicts previous reports of another Robin in the film. A photo said to have been taken from the set of the film shows Richard John Grayson’s tomb at the gravesite where Bruce Wayne’s parents, Thomas and Martha, were buried.

According to Screenrant, these reports of two Robins in the film could suggest a different storyline. When the movie starts it’s supposedly likely that two of Batman’s sidekicks may have already been killed. Likewise, per Movieweb if the rumours of “BVS” having a flashback scene of Jason Todd’s death are confirmed, then it paves way for the sidekick to re-emerge later as The Red Hood. It would create a different story altogether as Robin would re-emerge to seek justice for his death from The Joker.
