“The Bachelorette Australia” Season 1 star Sam Frost has broken her silence regarding reports that she already has a new beau. The 27-year-old beauty’s camp clarified that she’s not dating navy diver Dave Bashfield, saying they’re just friends.

Frost, who searched for love in the hit reality show, chose contestant Sasha Mielczarek over Richie Strahan, who eventually got featured in “The Bachelor Australia.” After being together for 18 months, Frost and Mielczarek parted ways in December last year. A month after, Frost was reported being in a new relationship with Bashfield after photos of them surfaced.

NW Magazine published pictures of Frost and Bashfield as the two hanged out on Australia Day. A source told the magazine that they were “all over each other” during the outing. However, Frost’s management has flat-out denied this claim, saying the two are just pals.

“It’s not Sam’s boyfriend, he’s just a mate of Sam’s,” her rep said, according to Yahoo7 Be. Their friendship doesn’t appear to spur out of the blue – it turns out Frost and Bashfield have a common friend, her former housemate Sarah-Mae Amey.

This is not the first time that Frost refuted a report from NW Magazine. In August last year, she refuted the magazine’s story claiming that the couple is “ready for it all [including] marriage and babies,” according to its sources. She took to Instagram to put the wedding rumours to rest. When one fan asked when she is getting married, Frost simply wrote, “not for a very long time!!! I am certainly no way near being ready.” The comments have since been deleted.

Earlier this month, Frost resorted to humour to describe being single. She posted a photo of herself kissing her dog and captioned it, “ Everyone act surprised in ten years time when they do one of those ‘Where are they now?’ articles and I end up being a weirdo that marries their dog, living in a bunker with an aluminium foil hat paranoid the world is going to end.”

Frost’s ex-boyfriend, on the other hand, also recently made news after launching a fitness blog for tradesmen. According to Mielczarek, Fit Tradie is “ a blog full of gramatical errors where two Aussie fellas will offer their perspectives on how to lead a healthy yet balanced lifestyle where smashing the odd ‘Chiko Roll’ or a can of froff (beer) is strongly encouraged.” A part of the blog site reads, “The main aim of Fit Tradie is to put something out there which doesn’t conform to the traditional blogs and something that people will actually enjoy reading (spelling mistakes inclusive) and will also get something out of!”
