Bachelor in Paradise” Season 3 alum Chad Johnson may have been written off as a bad guy, but it seems his TV reign isn’t over yet.

Reports say that the 28-year-old luxury real estate agent, who also tried – and failed – to win Jojo Fletcher’s heart on “The Bachelorette” Season 12, is set to make an appearance on a new unscripted series titled “Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?” The spin-off reality show comes on the heels of “The Bachelor” Season 20 starring Ben Higgins, a few months after he chose Lauren Bushnell.

After a thorough search among 27 women who was determined to win his heart, the 27-year-old software salesman from Colorado gave the highly coveted final rose to the 26-year-old flight attendant from California. Fletcher, who ended up as the runner-up in that particular cycle, had the coveted opportunity to have her pick among eligible men as the next bachelorette. However, it is also his aggressive personality that seemed to bring in social media attention and TV ratings. As a result, Johnson was brought back in “Bachelor in Paradise” to join the franchise’s other castoffs. It wasn’t long before the dark-haired hunk stirred up trouble again, this time attacking the other cast members. Even the show’s host, Chris Harrison, wasn’t spared from Johnson’s rude behaviour, and Harrison sent him packing after just one episode.

After his controversial exit, Johnson remained notorious in social media. He continues with his tirades on his personal account, which expectedly gain criticisms among the Twitterverse.

At one point, Johnson posted a feisty tweet that read, “If you’re not entertained by what I’m saying on here, it’s simple… Don’t follow me. Don’t like me on TV?... easy… Change the channel.”

He is definitely set to add spice and excitement to “Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?” but details about his guest role is yet to be revealed, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In an article published by the site, Bushnell revealed that while she and Higgins hadn’t seen the latest season of “The Bachelorette,” Johnson’s presence enticed them to watch. “Now I definitely want to get caught up — I keep hearing so much about this Chad guy,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.

“Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?” airs on October 11 on Freeform at 8 p.m. Stay tuned for spoilers and updates.
