It was quite a long road for Sean Lowe and all the ladies that participated in "The Bachelor" but in the end, only Catherine Giudici was left with the ring.

During the finale episode of "The Bachelor," Sean Lowe only had two ladies left, Lindsay Yenter and Catherine Giudici. In the end, the 29-year-old hunk dropped down to his knee to the 26-year-old Seattle graphic designer.

But of course, the ending is not without any drama. Before Sean's proposal to Catherine, he had to let go of Lindsay who was already convinced she would be Sean's pick in the end.

"Today is the best day of my life," Lindsay said before the finale revelation. "Today is the day I'm gonna get engaged. I'm feeling really calm but I'm getting really excited."

But to her dismay, Sean had to drop the bomb on her. Lindsay walked across a bridge to a floating platform where Sean was and there he told her the bitter news.

"You have been such a surprise. I didn't see our relationship coming," he said to her. "Lindsay, this is the toughest thing I've ever had to do. I've been so confused and I've been searching for clarity and praying for clarity and I think I've finally gotten it. I have to say goodbye to you."

An emotional Lindsay begged for him stop as the two walked off together to a waiting van. Meanwhile, it was a different story for the giddy Catherine.

"I knew from the beginning that you were someone I wanted to be around. I just had no idea my feelings would turn into what they did. I think the world of you and I miss you every time we have to say goodbye. I miss you. I don't want to say goodbye anymore," Sean said.

And on that note, he dropped to his knee and popped the question that she has been waiting to hear.

"Catherine, will you marry me?" Sean asked.

Well as most predicted, the ring did go to Catherine and just like any season of "The Bachelor" one's happiness is another lady's broken heart.
