Actor Idris Elba may have got himself in trouble with "Avengers: Age of Ultron" director Joss Whedon for spilling out the casting secrets of the movie during one of his recent interviews. While the news may have been an exciting one for the fans, it seems Joss Whedon isn't too happy about it.

Recently, the 42-year-old actor Idris Elba sat down with a British publication Telegraph for an interview wherein he made the big revelation about his appearance as his Marvel character Heimdall. Tom Hiddleston has not yet confirmed about his role in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." However, Idris hinted at a scene with the actor, who plays supervillain and Norse god Loki.

"I'm in 'Avengers: [Age Of Ultron']," he said. "And I'm doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki)," Idris told Telegraph.

The actor also talked about his experience of working in Marvel movies. He described it as "torture."

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year 2015. Fans are eagerly looking forward to it and have been hoping to see the return of the popular and beloved villain Loki. At the time of Idris' interview, it wasn't known whether Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role or not for "Avengers" sequel.

Idris' revelation about the new superhero movie has led to director Joss Whedon admitting that the actor can expect some form of reprimand. He talked about the leak during his interview with Vulture.

"Um, should he receive an email from me, there might be an attitude of scold," Joss Whedon told the aforementioned entertainment news publication. "Yeah, when you have a cast of 19,000 people, inevitably, once every month, you pick up [a story] and you're like, 'Awww,'" he continued.

Marvel and Walt Disney have not yet commented or confirmed the casting news of Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Prior to this, the two actors have appeared in "Thor" and "Thor: The Dark World" and 2012's "The Avengers."

Helmed by Joss Whedon, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Chris Evans as Captain America, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and more. The movie is set to release on May 1, 2015.
