Michele Jenneke leapt to stardom last year when she was caught busting some moves before her race. But now, Michelle will attract some attention again as a Sports Illustrated model.

She's a professional athlete and now a model. Michelle Jenneke will be featured in Sports Illustrated magazine's swimsuit edition. Together with her on the magazine are veteran models like Kate Upton and Katherine Webb.

Who knew that she would become an internet sensation just by doing some pre-race dance moves during the 100m hurdles at IAAF World's Championships in Barcelona? Minutes after her infamous warm up, gifs and images of Michelle were already posted online.

Well the Aussie athlete is set to get more attention now. All eyes will be on her as she ventures into unknown territories. Michelle was picked by Sports Illustrated to appear on their sports section. She will be joined by US surfer Alana Blanchard and Dutch hockey stars Ellen Hoog and Eva de Goede.

Funny thing was when Jenneke made it big last year, her mother said that there was nothing about the "dance warm up" that was out the ordinary.

"She's been doing this the last three years. She doesn't get nerves before a race, she just gets very excited," Michelle's mother Nicky told News Limited last year.

Apart from her new career as a model and her success as an athlete, Jenneke is also a student at the Sydney University and is taking up mechatronic engineering which is a combination of mechanical and electrical engineering.
