"Arrow" Season 3, Episode 3, titled "Corto Maltese," airs Wednesday, Oct. 22, on The CW. It's Merlyn versus Queen in this week's new episode. Thea Queen is reborn as "someone else," while Felicity Smoak gets a new boss.

Thea Queen (Willa Holland) is being trained by her biological father, Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), the Dark Archer (who is suspected to have killed Caity Lotz' Sara Lance). Thea was seen in a fencing training in the final act of Arrow Season 3, Episode 2. Oliver's little sister has been reborn.

In Arrow Season 3, Episode 3, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) launches himself on a quest to bring his sister home. Roy Harper, aka the Arsenal (Colton Haynes) and John Diggle (David Ramsey) try to help out.

Still developing in Arrow Season 3, Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) is starting a new chapter in her life, as well. Heavily affected by Sara's death, Felicity realizes life can't be all about Team Arrow. So she accepts a job offer from Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer, who is known among DC comics readers as The Atom.

Olicity might be disappointed at the budding romance between Felicity and Palmer, but the writers did give them some moments to hang on to just before things went south in Oliver's head, as early as the premiere episode of Arrow Season 3.

"Oliver tries to track down Thea in Corto Maltese as Diggle searches for a missing field operative. Meanwhile, Felicity adapts to her new job," reads the Arrow 3x03 synopsis on TV.com.

In the promo clip, Oliver talks about telling Thea the truth. Is he ready to introduce himself as The Arrow? Ollie has been calling Thea "Speedy," which in DC Comics is Roy Harper's other name. Now that Thea Merlyn is under her Dark Archer father's wing, which side will Thea choose when the time comes?

This could be a Thea-centric episode, which means the death of Sara Lance would not have much screentime. Perhaps the big moments of that arc are reserved for Episode 4, titled "The Magician."
