Amy Adams: The Kiss with Jennifer Lawrence that “Borders on Intimacy” [WATCH]

The “Man of Steel” actress, Amy Adams is costarring with A-list star, Jennifer Lawrence in the critically acclaimed film, “American Hustle” and the two stunning female celebrities share a kiss that Adams described as almost “borderlines on intimacy.”

Speaking to US celebrity show, “Extra,” Adams gushes over the Oscar-winning actress and her “soft lips.”

"She does a great job at it [kissing]. She has very soft lips,” said Adams to Extra by Us Magazine.

Amy plays the character of Sydney Prosser, the wife of an FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper) while J-Law portrays the character of
Rosalyn Rosenfeld, the wife of a brilliant con man, Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale).

While both Amy and J-Law have legitimate, hottie husbands in the film by David O’Russell, they wound up sharing a kiss - - an interesting development for Amy who admitted not having had a chance to work the same scene with any other women before Jennifer.

She said, "She's a really awesome woman. Everyone's chemistry is so electric in this. The volatile energy between Jennifer and I, it almost borders on intimacy because it's so immediate and so there and then she kisses me.”

Recalling the sequence as they did the kissing scene, Amy noted that the "Silver Lining Playbook" actress ran out of the set, laughing.

“It's funny because after the first take of that, I ended up with lipstick out to here [gestures all around her mouth]. She has very full lips - and also playing somebody who's not puckering for a kiss, it’s really interesting how a kiss hits you when you're not participating in it,” said Amy who began looking back to the day they filmed the kissing scene, according to Entertainmentwise.com.

"I looked in the mirror, and its meant to be this really dramatic moment, and I can hear her out there laughing and I'm laughing because she pulled back and looked at me and ran out of the room. And I hear her laughing, and I couldn't figure out why she was laughing at first and then I look in the mirror and I'm all serious and I was like, 'Well, that's not gonna work.' I looked ridiculous."

Jennifer, Amy added was able to “pull off” the scene “wonderfully.”

Amy pointed out, "Jennifer pulls it off wonderfully because you believe it again as part of the character. It doesn't feel like this salacious, sexual kiss between two women. It’s part of her struggle for control."

Jennifer, for her part, has her own share of top moments sharing a scene with Amy.

"Getting to fight with Amy was just the funniest, and we'd just be cracking up. They'd call ''Cut!'' and we'd just start laughing," Jennifer added,” stated Jennifer to Entertainmentwise.com.

The 24-year old star is returning to the big screen with Bradley Cooper, she co-starred with in Oscar award-winning film, “Silver Lining Playbook.”

“American Hustle” is a crime drama that also stars Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner, Louis C.K., Michael Pena, among others. It hits theatres on Dec. 20, 2013.
