"American Idol" 2014 (Season 13) will send home another Idol hopeful this Thursday, Apr. 24, on FOX. Sam Woolf and CJ Harris were the least stellar on the Top 6 night. Wildcard Jena Irene Asciutto continued to mesmerize the judges, even with some snafus. This Michigan teen has been consistently on fire since covering "Decode" by Paramore six weeks ago.

American Idol 2014 judge Jennifer Lopez said she has less "goosies" this year on the show. Could it be that she and the rest of the panel made some very wrong choices during the "filtering" stage? It is clear, however, that picking Jena Irene as wildcard saved the competition.

AI judge Keith Urban keeps saying he loves CJ Harris, but not as a singer. The third AI judge, Harry Connick, Jr, keeps pointing out that Harris is out of tune. It is quite a puzzle then, how CJ has lasted this long on American Idol Season 13. The AI judges say he oozes with some kind of connection magic. The vote results seem to agree.

Sam Woolf has been showing some improvements since almost going home three weeks ago. Bent on making the judges' "save" worth it, the just-turned-18 Michigan lad is showing the voters he wants to stay longer on American Idol 2014. The results a week ago kept him safe. Will he stay safe?

Malaya Watson is gone, Majesty Rose is gone, but American Idol Season 13 still has CJ Harris in the Top 6. This AI Wiki page shows Harris was eliminated. But the results show -- which happens live -- has not even aired.

Based on the performances of the Idol Top 6, Sam Woolf and CJ Harris should be in the bottom two this week. Jessica Meuse is not far ahead of them. Keith Urban points out how she is not connecting to the audience. Harry Connick, Jr believes otherwise, at least in this week alone.

That Jessica landed in the bottom when there are just two girls left in the competition is bad omen. Harris' supporters will probably continue to push for him to stay on the show. American Idol 2014 could lose Jessica if Harris really has a solid fan base.

Jena Irene, Caleb Johnson and Alex Preston (apologies for the Watson error) are the better half in what remains of the 2014 AI batch. Both Caleb and Alex have not been in the bottom two or three. Jena, meanwhile, was in the bottom three after the Top 11 performed. She has never revisited the bottom since. Will she take it all the way to Idol championship?

American Idol 2014 (Season 13) airs on FOX on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This feature will be updated once Idol host Ryan Seacrest has announced this week's eliminated Idol contestant.

UPDATE: CJ Harris finished his Idol journey at 6th place. Jessica Meuse was also in the bottom two. Jena Irene is the only voter-favoured girl two weeks in a row.
