Multi-award winning singer Adele has shared a sneak peak of yet another heartfelt single “When We Were Young,” off her forthcoming album “25.”

In a video clip uploaded on 60 Minutes Australia’s Twitter account on Monday, Adele performs her new song in a studio with a band and backup singers around her. The video also contained a preview of Adele’s exclusive interview, which will premiere on Sunday.

“Let me photograph you in this light in case it is the last time/ That we might be exactly like we were before we realised/ We were sad of getting old, it made us restless/ Oh I’m so mad I’m getting old it makes me restless/ It was just like a movie, it was just like a song/ When we were young,” she sings in the video.

Adele finished her performance saying, “It’s a whole new me.”

Prior to the live recording of the her song in the video, Adele discussed her feeling about her return in the music spotlight. “I get really nervous. I’m scared. I don’t want to disappoint them [fans],” she said.

In the latest issue of the Rolling Stone magazine, the Grammy-award winning singer revealed that “When We Were Young” is her favourite track on the album. Adele co-wrote the song with Canadian musician Tobias Jesso Jr. The song is produced by Ariel Rechtshaid.

In a guest article written in The Guardian newspaper, Adele revealed that she decided to co-write a song with Jesso because of his “vibe” and “humour” that inspired her over the years.“The way he plays piano -- so felt. The music he makes is romantic, with a ‘70s vibe,” the singer wrote.

The mother-of-one noted that she “definitely” will work with the Jesso again. She tagged the artist as her “new secret weapon.”

“When We Were Young” is Adele’s second single from her third studio album “25,” which will release on Nov. 20. Her first track “Hello” since returning to the music spotlight has already garnered the largest number of viewership on YouTube within its first 24 hours of release.
