Mark Zuckerberg believes that a world that is more open makes it possible for people to decide. Thanks to all the information out there. While this may be true on certain matters, there is a flaw to Zuckerberg's claim. What if some people are too open? Some have gotten flak from friends and family for being too open about their opinions on social networking sites while others got fired because of a Facebook post.

1. Devina DeDiva's Maid Comment

Devina DeDiva hit the headlines in October when she posted a comment against Ms. Philippines Megan Young and all Filipino women being "poor, smelly from cleaning toilets and uneducated." The Indian DeDiva's racist Facebook post cost her job after being fired by Filipino superiors.

2. Kimberley Swann and Her "Boring" Job

Telling Facebook friends you're bored is normal, but saying "First day at work. Omg!! So dull!!" cost Ms. Swann her job. Upper management found about the post three weeks after she posted it on Facebook and the rest was history.

3. Professor Seeks "Discrete Hitman"

Sociology Prof. Gloria Gadsden was told to go on indefinite leave from East Stroudsburg University after asking her Facebook friends if they know a "very discrete hitman."

4. Dana Kuchler and Drug Addiction

A Wisconsin police dispatcher was fired from her job after she posted on Facebook that she is addicted to adderall, vicodin and other drugs.

5. Chadwin Reynolds Hit On Students

Chadwin Reynolds reportedly did not shy away from saying, "This is sexy" to the photos of his students. The Bronx teacher also tried to go out with one of his students at Fordham HS for the Arts according to a report by the New York Post.

6. Harlem Teacher Wanting To Drown 5th Graders - Sort Of

Christine Rubino stirred controversy when she posted, "After today, I am thinking the beach sounds like a wonderful idea for my 5th graders! I HATE THEIR GUTS!" following a drowning incident involving a 12-year-old girl in a school trip. She was fired but later on got her job back, sources claimed.
