The roster of “Street Fighter V” expands yet again with the addition of a familiar face. The addition of another character brings the total roster count to 13, with more on the way.

Capcom confirmed today that the “red cyclone” Zangief will be back for another round in “Street Fighter V.” Zangief will bring back his trademark brute wrestling style, which he uses to easily lift and carry opponents. He’ll also be using one of his signature moves, the cyclone.

His addition means there are three characters left to be revealed as part of the initial launch roster. Out of the three characters, one is expected to be a new fighter, like Necalli and the recently-revealed Rashid.

Zangief’s V-Skill is called, Iron Muscle which turns Zangief bright red when activated. When executing his V-Skill, Zangief will be allowed to absorb one attack from his opponent. Successfully absorbing one will leave Zangief with recovering health. If the player holds the medium punch and medium kick button before the V-Skill duration ends, Zangief will flex his muscles. If close enough, and opponent will get damaged upon flexing.

As for his V-Trigger, Zangief will live up to his “red cyclone” moniker with a move called Cyclone Lariat. Different from his basic cyclone move, Cyclone Lariat is a faster spin move which pulls in opponents when activated. If the player continues to hold on to the V-Trigger activation buttons, Zangief will continue to spin and hit his opponent multiple times dealing massive damage if successfully pulled off.

It seems Capcom will add another character soon as game producer, Yoshinori Ono recently revealed a teaser image for another character, Geek Snack reports. The image shows a bracelet of some sorts and a small Blanka figure.

“Street Fighter V” is in development for the PC and PlayStation 4. No release date has been announced but Capcom notes that it will be released sometime next year.
