Zac Efron Spotted In Atlanta, Actor Working On His Next Film Titled 'Dirty Granpa' With Co-Star Robert De Niro
Actor Zac Efron was spotted working on his new film titled "Dirty Grandpa" in Atlanta, Georgia last Monday, Jan. 12. The 27-year-old "Neighbors" star joined his co-stars Robert De Niro, Julianne Hough and Dermot Mulroney on the set to shoot a funeral scene for the upcoming comedy film.
According to a Just Jared report, "Dirty Grandpa" tells the story of an uptight guy tricked into driving his perverted former Army general grandfather to Florida for spring break. "Parks and Recreation" star Aubrey Plaza and "Beautiful Creatures" actress also star in the film.
On the film set, Zac Efron was photographed driving around in a baby pink Mini Cooper. A Mail Online report revealed that the actor looked comfortable walking around the set wearing a long, black down jacket, blue shirt, a patterned black tie, khaki trousers and a pair of black Ugg boots before filming the driving scene.
The actor also wore a similar outfit on Sunday, Jan. 11, while shooting his scenes in the film. Zac Efron's co-stars Julianne Hough, Robert De Niro and Dermot Mulroney looked stylish as well in their outfits that day.
Julianne Hough wore a black wide-brim hat, trendy oversized sunglasses, a furry cream and black sweater underneath a black sheepskin-lined leather jacket. Actor Dermot Mulroney wore an outfit similar to Zac Efron while Robert De Niro donned a black suit with a diagonally-striped tie. Click HERE to see photos.
Zac Efron shared to his millions of followers on Twitter an image of the note that he received from his Academy Award-winning co-star. "Cool way to start my day... #breakaleg," Efron posted on his Twitter account @ZacEfron on Tuesday, Jan. 13, as a caption to the shared image of Robert De Niro's note which read "Dear Zac, 'Break a leg!'"
The synopsis of the upcoming comedy film in a Deadline report teased that Zac Efron portrays a twenty-something character who goes on a road trip with his recently widowed grandfather, which actor Robert De Niro portrays, before his wedding day. However, Zac Efron's character in the film finds out that his grandfather is on a mission to get laid during spring break. "Dirty Grandpa" is scheduled to hit U.S. movie theaters in June 2016.
