The first half of "The Originals" Season 2 ended with Original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) outsmarting his manipulative mother Esther (Sonja Sohn). However, the released synopsis for "The Originals" Season 2, episode 11 titled "Brotherhood of the Damned" teased that Klaus and his brother, Elijah (Daniel Gillies), will be dealing with the trouble that their other brother, Finn (Yusuf Gatewood), brings in the second half of the CW spinoff series.

According to the episode synopsis in a Carter Matt report, Finn, who is now armed with more power than ever, performs a spell that will trap Klaus and Elijah. Davina (Danielle Campbell) will have no choice but to side with the Originals and help them after realizing that Kol (Daniel Sharman) is also in trouble.

As for Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), the vampire leader will try to calm down his people after the deadly events that happened in "The Originals" Season 2, episode 10 titled "Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire." The viewers will be treated with flashback scenes of Marcel's days as a World War I soldier where the character remembers his leadership skills being tested.

Lastly, the upcoming episode's synopsis teased that Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will find herself conflicted after discovering that she and Jackson (Nathan Parsons) must take part in the extreme and unconventional rituals before their wedding takes place. Both characters will be placed in a dangerous position if they participated in the life-threatening pre-wedding rituals.

Meanwhile, lead actor Joseph Morgan was asked at the Television Critics Association (TCA) semi-annual press tour last Sunday, Jan. 11, if his ruthless hybrid character is becoming less evil on the show. The 33-year-old English actor explained in an Entertainment Weekly report that Klaus does really terrible things but there are good reasons behind the actions.

"Yes, he's slightly less evil, but we can justify it," Morgan declared. However, the CW star teased that the last scene that he worked on had Klaus walking in with a bag of severed heads. "I don't think he's lost too much [of his evil ways]," Morgan stated.

"The Originals" Season 2 returns with episode 10 titled "Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire" on Monday night, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
