On Monday, September 26, a media person interrogates Jack Abbot (Peter Bergman) about the rumour that has been going around about him beating up his wife. Things get a little sweet as in the hospital; Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson) will confide to Phyllis Abbot (Gina Tognoni) that he thinks they can still be together. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) gets firms as she tells Jill Atkinson (Jess Walton) that she does not have any plans to reconcile with Billy.

Jill gets on her tough side as she squares off with an old rival. The situation then gets a little messy as Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) tries to help Jack, but things do not go as planned.

Soaps She Knows gives another look at this episode, more particularly with Jack’s issue. This is because viewers are now wondering if Jack will be arrested on domestic abuse charges, and could be put in jail. This could mean that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) would be again returning as a visitor in prison.

Everything that happened was by accident, but it was Jack himself who set him up by maligning his wife and brother as much as he could online in last week’s episodes. This led to Billy, who happened to be at the Abbot mansion, to seeing his love inured on the ground. This of course made him freak out. Billy, being the somewhat insensitive brother that he is, immediately concluded that Jack had done something wrong.

Women falling down the stairs however, are not new to Jack at all. The former Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) also fell down a fleet of stairs after she and Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) squared off at the peak of a cement staircase. She then went into a coma and woke up as a new actress, Gina Tognoni.

“The Young and the Restless” airs on CBS every Monday to Friday in the US. It also airs on Arena in Australia.
