On the episode of “The Young and the Restless” which will air on Monday, August 29, Adam will tell Chelsea Newman (Melissa Egan) that their one and only chance of being together lies of her trusting Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Things get tighter when Luca threatens his fiancé Summer. Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson) walks in while something is going on between Travis Crawford (Michael Roark) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Lastly, Nikki Newman (Melody Scott) will be taking a big risk.

Adam’s call to Chelsea was done after being warmly told by Victor to do so. Chelsea had always been adamant in trusting Adam’s father and whether or not she will give in and how it will affect Adam’s liberty will be known once this episode airs.

Things have not been smooth sailing at all for lovebirds Summer and Luca, writes Soaps She Knows. Summer will be informed by Travis that Luca was the mastermind behind the sabotage that led to the oil crisis. This is where tension sets in yet again for the lovebirds as Summer will address Luca’s accusers as liars.

When they reach home, Luca will suggest that they get away from Summer’s family and just get married somewhere remote. Summer will find it odd that Luca is not bothered about his own innocence. After being pushed, Luca will admit that the accusations are true. While he really did sabotage the Newman oil rigs, he will claim that he only did so because he wanted to be with her. Summer gets hysterical and threatens to call the cops.

“The Young and the Restless” airs on CBS every Monday to Friday in the US. It also airs on Arena in Australia.
