'The Young and the Restless' (Y&R) spoilers for August 24: Jack tries to woo Phyllis; Hilary reveals a secret; Victoria opens up to Billy

The week on “The Young and the Restless” has been filled with intense drama, more particularly with Adam Newman’s (Justin Hartley) situation -- which dragged the Newmans along. Heavy events unfold one after the other with every episode placing viewers at the edge of their seats.

The episode synopsis for August 24 merely says that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will try his luck in romancing Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni). She is very distracted while he is absolutely frustrated. Daytime Royalty Online in a forum adds that Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) will be disclosing a secret about Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be opening something up to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Over the previous months, Phyllis has had a lot on her plate. From being in a very messy love triangle, to having blues over her daughter’s sudden decisions, she definitely is not in an ideal state of mind for some loving. It is also noteworthy that the way she had been handling her situation has earned the ire of a lot of fans of the shows, some even labelling themselves as Phyllis haters.

While Phyllis has been in a constant state of drama, viewers are already forming their fan-made love teams based on who Victoria should be with. Some pick Travis Crawford (Michael Roark), while others choose Billy. It is speculated that Travis and Victoria will have different visions for their future. Travis wants to spend their sweet time travelling all over the world, but Victoria already has a responsibility as a mother.

Billy, on the other hand, is more committed to co-parenting in a setup that will be beneficial for their children. While they are not yet a couple, they do their best to fit in moments that would be best for their families.

“The Young and the Restless” airs on CBS every Monday to Friday in the US. It also airs on Arena in Australia.
