'The Young and the Restless' (Y&R) spoilers for August 22: Michael asks Adam to use insanity as defenc; Travis and Victoria get steamy

Just when relationship issues had things quite messed up last week, the situation is about to get even more twisted on the episode of “The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) which will air on Monday, August 22.

Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) starts to get desperate as he asks Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) to plead guilty to the offen c e s charged, but raise insanity as a defence. Insanity, in legal terms, is an exempting circumstance. Thus, even if it will be proven that Adam is , indeed , guilty, he will not serve his sentence if the court is convinced that he is insane.
Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson) gets under some pressure when Phyllis Abbot (Gina Tognoni) will tell him that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) had gone to Mexico.
The situation then gets a little steamy when Travis Crawford (Michael Roark) will ask Victoria to come away with him. A spoiler post on Celeb Dirty Laundry says that this reunion will bring about a lot of emotional ups and downs. Things will begin with an intense confrontation over Victoria’s reasons for coming. Victoria will say that she is merely granting Phyllis’ request. They want Travis to return to Genoa and debunk Luca Santori’s (Miles Gaston Villanueva) claims on the oil crisis.
Travis’ suspicion will arise that Victoria is curious about the life that she had missed. When he mentions that she is getting back with Billy, she will deny it. Victoria will claim that Luca just made that up.
Victoria will get fed up with the argument and will try to leave, but Travis stops her in a romantic way. He will then tell her that she has always been running on his mind and that she has always been in his dreams. Victoria responds well to this and admits that she still likes him.
The temperature rises as they get on with some kisses and proceed under the sheets for some love making. Victoria will have to boldly decide if she can give their relationship another chance.
