'The Young and the Restless' (Y&R) spoilers for August 16: Nick faces a family crisis, Phyllis holds her ground, Jill stands firm with Billy

Following yesterday’s twists and turns, “The Young and the Restless” continues with a lot of drama on Tuesday. Nick may need to swallow his pride to seek Victoria’s help, while Jilly starts getting aggressive with Billy.

The upcoming episod e is briefly teased in a post on Soaps She Knows. First, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) finds himself needing Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) help as he faces a family crisis. Things get a little tight as the spotlight turns to Phyllis Abbot (Gina Tognoni), as she holds her ground. Jill Atkinson (Jess Walton) takes a more aggressive stand with Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson).
Celeb Dirty Laundry also notes what could happen on the upcoming episode. It is worth noticing that “The Young and the Restless” has been brewing something between Phyllis and Billy lately and fans have bitten into this arc and fondly labelled it “Philly.” Both have been through a lot of ups and down and could one day find themselves ending up with each other . However, the situation is really complicated and the chase would not be any easier.
It is also speculated that Victoria might overhear Phyllis and Billy discussing something intimate with regard to the real score between them, or could even catch them elsewhere. Having both of them in a very close proximity would increa se the likelihood that more people will become suspicious of the real deal between them. This will eventually force them to expose this matter.
Jill, however, has been quite pushy with Billy and Victoria and a lot would agree that she has been making a lot of sense. This would get fans rooting for who they want to end up together.
The Newman s are truly going through a lot right now in many different aspects. This could be with their personal relationship or with b usiness matters. Whatever the issue that concerns Nick is will be revealed in full once the episode airs.
