“xXx: Return of Xander Cage” is all set to be released this year and it is going to be Deepika Padukone's (Serena) Hollywood debut film. She gets the chance to work alongside “Fast and the Furious” star Vin Diesel (Xander) and the two are expected to have a sexy scene together.

Daily News and Analysis has revealed that Deepika's first scene with Diesel is steamy and super hot. The Indian actress and Diesel will reportedly share a few intimate and passionate sequences. Fans can therefore look forward to see if they have a sizzling chemistry on screen.

Per source, Deepika has about 20 minutes of screen presence in the first half of “xXx: Return of Xander Cage.” It is good news for fans who have been wondering if she will have enough screen time.

Paramount Pictures has released a video of Deepika sharing some details about her character in the upcoming film. The 31-year-old actress said Serena is a representation of women today. She said her character is independent, intelligent and one that can stand up for herself.

Padukone further teased that Xander sees himself in Serena and she thinks that probably is the reason why the titular role is drawn to her character. “You realise how similar they are to each other and then you see how they work together as a team. Slowly you discover that she is there for a much larger mission,” the actress said.

Her appearances in Bollywood films have been a stepping stone for Padukone. In 2009, she starred for the movie, “Chandni Chowk to China.” She also starred in “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” (2013), “Chennai Express” (2013), “Happy New Year” (2014) and “Bajirao Mastani” (2015). The actress joined “Om Shanti Om” in 2007 for which she was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. In 2013, she received her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her role of a Gujarati girl in “Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.”

“xXx: Return of Xander Cage” is directed by DJ Caruso. It is produced by Diesel himself, along with Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Samantha Vincent. The film is slated to hit Australian theatres on Jan. 19.
