Samsung Galaxy J7 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 are among the top smartphones trending currently. Both have amazing specifications and features and both come with an affordable price tag.

Other top smartphones apart from these two are Sony Xperia XZ, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016), Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, Xiaomi Redmi 3s and of course Apple iPhone 7, as per GSM Arena.

Samsung Galaxy J7 has a cool 13MP snapper with a pretty decent depth of field of f/1.9. A lot of buyers decide on smartphones after considering the camera and its ability to capture great still and moving images. Video recording quality is also very important for a smartphone to get chosen by consumers.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 is ideal for low-light conditions, producing crisp images with every click. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a big 16MP snapper but a slightly smaller opening of f/2.0. The images clicked are no doubt good but does not do justice to the 16MP tag. Some images even on maximum resolution seem interpolated, writes Mobile & Apps.

Both the phones have a 5MP front camera, which is more than enough for selfies. They provide pretty awesome snaps under proper lighting conditions. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 however gets a lead over Samsung Galaxy J7 with respect to Screen Display.

While the Galaxy J7 has a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and ppi of 267, the Redmi Note 3 packs a Full HD punch with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and way higher ppi of 403. In terms of CPU and GPU, both the phones are equally capable. Even during heavy-duty multitasking, both the phones will run modern games and apps without problems.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 has a Snapdragon 617 chip and an Adreno 405 whereas the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a Snapdragon 650 and Adreno 510.

Experts believe that the Samsung Galaxy J7 price could be as low as $220 (AU$287) on Amazon and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 price can start even at $160 (AU$209). Both the phones are incredible options for buyers who are not ready to invest in pricey flagships such as the iPhone 7 or the Samsung Galaxy S7.
