Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may have a 6GB RAM and run on the Android 7.0 Nougat. Latest reports suggest that the Mi Note 2 will come equipped with top configurations and a most-impressive exterior design. Similar to Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the Xiaomi smartphone may also have a dual-curved-edge display.

Leaked images suggested that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may run on the MIUI 8.6.8.26. It will also have a Snapdragon 820 processor that may be clocking 2.15 GHz. Earlier reports had suggested that the device will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 that is a bit over-clocked compared to the original.

Experts believe that the device may finally include the coveted 6GB RAM. With an internal storage of 64GB, users will get 52.28GB to enjoy the device. Xiaomi may also introduce a 128GB high-end variant. Many suggest that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will come with a 5.5-inch to 5.7-inch screen and a 2K display, writes Phone Radar.

The only premium phone with a 6GB RAM is the OnePlus 3 that received only a modest response from users. The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will however have the 6GB RAM. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is one of the few devices that would come with the Android 7.0 Nougat. Other phones that will be sporting the same are Google Nexus 2016 and LG V20.

Even though the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has not declared the official release date for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, the device may be introduced at the IFA 2016 event scheduled in Berlin between Sept. 2 and Sept. 7, writes The Bitbag.

Xiaomi has recently struggled a lot in its own county’s smartphone market. It slipped in to the fourth spot, behind Huawei, OPPO and Vivo. The company is now looking at the US market for business. It’s depending heavily on the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 launch.
