Sunday’s “X Factor UK” was filled with drama when a member of the fan-favourite girl group, 4th Impact, nearly collapsed after their live performance. This prompted Simon Cowell to rush the judges’ feedback portion to help.

The youngest among the four girls comprising the powerhouse group, 4th Impact, collapsed before Sunday’s “X Factor UK” live performance, according to Huffington Post. Celina Cercado was rushed off in an ambulance; however, the singer was able to recover a little, and the group decided to push through with their performance.

4th Impact’s mentor Cheryl Fernadez-Versini updated the “X Factor UK” viewers on Cercado’s condition and assured them that the singer was feeling a bit better. “I’ve offered them the opportunity to not perform and play the dress run,” she explained. “But they have insisted on performing.”

Cercado, along with her three sisters, gave an amazing performance with their fierce rendition of Beyonce’s “Work It Out.” However, there was a moment after the performance when Cercado nearly passed out as her sisters hugged to support her. The youngest 4th Impact member said that she felt dizzy after the song.

“X Factor UK” judge and showrunner Cowell remained standing in concern after the group’s performance. He then asked Cercado if she was ok and gently told her to go backstage to rest. The four-member girl group opted to stay on stage to receive the judges’ feedback, with Cercado sitting on a chair.

Cowell said that they should rush with the judges’ comments given Cercado’s condition. He also praised 4th Impact and stated that it was the “most incredible thing” they have seen on the show “under the circumstances.”

The girl group’s mentor Fernadez-Versini also applauded 4th Impact for their professionalism and said that she was “so proud” of the four sisters for their dedication.

"You had the opportunity to use the dress run tapes but you said no. That is what stars do,” she stated. "We suffer things like this, sore throats, losing your voice - there's things you have to just do and you girls brought that tonight without professional experience. That says a lot about what you girls can be."

After the performance, Cercado was again checked by medical professionals to ensure that she’s okay. The singer also took to Twitter to assure fans of her condition. “1st of all I want to thank God for giving me the strength to perform last night. Thank you all for praying for me! Feeling better now,” she wrote.

4th Impact is one of the final seven contenders who made it through “X Factor UK’s” live decider show.

“X Factor UK” airs every Sunday and Monday in the UK on ITV.
