Grammy award-winning singer Adele unleashed the preview of her new song in the most unique way, without much hullabaloo. An unexpected sneak peek of a song from her upcoming album, “25,” was released in the middle of Saturday night's episode of the reality show “X Factor UK.”

On Oct. 17, a 30-second clip of Adele's new track was played during the ad break of the British “X Factor.” The lyrics of the song were flashed on the screen with a black background as Adele’s familiar voice sang each line that appeared.

“Hello, it’s me / I was wondering if after all these years / you’d like to meet to go over everything / they say that time’s supposed to heal ya / but I ain’t done much healing ...” read the advertisement.

The audience were surprised as the network did not make any formal announcement before the sneak peek of the song. Adele's third album is the sequel to her album “21” and is slated for a November release, according to Billboard. It will be her first album in three years since she released “Skyfall” in 2012.

The upcoming album will also be Adele's first with Sony Music Entertainment, Billboard said in September. Adele spent eight years working with XL Recordings, but she recently inked a new deal with with Sony.

The shocking release of the preview became the most talked-about topic on Twitter as fans took to the social networking site to express their views.

Adele has won six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, two Brit Awards, including British Album of the Year, and three American Music Awards for her second studio album, “21.” The album is the fourth best-selling album in the UK of all time. Over 30 million copies of the album were sold out worldwide.
