New Zealand deserves Natalia Kills and Willy Moon, “The X Factor UK” judge Louis Walsh joked. The Irish showbiz manager also reckoned that the “no class, no taste” Kills will never work again after displaying such cruel behaviour towards an aspiring singer.

Walsh was talking to presenter Eoghan McDermott on UK’s 2FM when the hot topic of Kills and Moon’s brutal critique of X Factor NZ contestant Joe Irvine came up. Walsh started off by saying he had never heard of Kills and Moon before, calling them “nobodies.”

His sentiment isn’t unique. When the clip went viral, many people immediately asked who the couple were. And even though they achieved moderate fame in New Zealand, there were Kiwis who admitted that they Googled the duo just to find out info about them following the announcement they were the new judges of the talent show a few months back.

Upon hearing what happened on the live show on Sunday, the judge of the show’s UK version quickly berated the couple for their callous treatment of an aspirant. He reserved his most vicious words for Kills, who was the instigator of the verbal attack on Irvine.

“She obviously has no class, no taste,” Walsh said, adding that the English songstress would never work again because no one would want to hire her.” He also said that what the husband and wife team did was cruel and not right. They were supposed to give construction criticism of the show’s hopefuls, not shred their confidence to pieces using personal attacks.

When McDermott asked if Kills and Moon were simple the victim of the show producers telling them to shock people by giving cruel critique, Walsh said the judges of the X Factor franchise were never told to do it. The scene would never happened on “The Voice of Ireland” or “The Voice of UK” or even on “The X Factor UK.”

“I’m glad they’ve lost their jobs and I’m glad they’re in New Zealand. New Zealand deserves these people,” he told fellow Irish McDermott who laughed. Kills and Moon are not in New Zealand anymore, though. They were spotted leaving the country for Los Angeles after they were promptly dismissed from the show.

Moon has been silent since the incident, while Kills claimed she had “the most fun” during the live show because she got a lot more followers on Twitter. She refused to apologise as well, with her spokesperson telling Mirror that she spoke from the heart and she is standing by what she said.
