Not everyone is eagerly waiting for word on the baby watch duty of Kate Middleton. Apparently, there are a few who are on the defense duty and "The X-Factor" Judge Demi Lovato is one of them.

In the current rampant speculation that a royal heir may already be on the way for the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, the 20-year old singer took to Twitter and slammed the tabloid media's persistent and ridiculous need to cry a pregnancy at the smallest signs of a waistline.

"So apparently Kate Middleton (William?) is pregnant because of THIS picture. Are you KIDDING ME?!!" Demi Lovato posted on Twitter while linking to a cropped photo of the latest Star magazine cover that drew an arrow on Kate Middleton's nonexistent midsection and even tagged it: "Expanding Waistline."

According to reports, the image seems to be a distorted perspective by anyone's standards on pregnancy and that includes Demi Lovato.

"And people wonder why girls/guys have body image issues," she also wrote on Twitter. "Whether she is or not, she still has a beautiful body. Shame on you Star magazine," the singer further added.

Kate Middleton's overseas eating etiquette ignited the idea of a royal pregnancy coming when the 30-year old Duchess of Cambridge turned down a glass of wine at a state banquet dinner in Singapore and she opted instead for water during two toasts that was made in honor of the Queen.

Meanwhile, the Royal couple and the palace have not or probably won't comment on the pregnancy rumors that were initiated during their Diamond Jubilee trip to the South Pacific.

Kate Middleton and Prince William were reportedly tied up with another day full of Royal duties in Malaysia where the ever beautiful and elegant Duchess of Cambridge delivered her very first speech abroad. The Royal couple will wrap up their tour early next week.
