“Westworld” is definitely coming back as the show snagged an official renewal from HBO in November. When the series returns, Rachel Wood (Dolores) will be back too. The actress has assured fans of her comeback, saying no one is more excited than her to return.

Wood has even teased fans about what to expect from “Westworld” season 2, saying the season 1’s ending will segue into the next instalment. One of the biggest revelations in “Westworld” season 2 was the sound of Wood’s character killing Ford (Anthony Hopkins). Several viewers think that Ford is really dead and it will be interesting to see how the events of season 1 will affect the second season. There are reports that Hopkins will also be back in “Westworld” season 2.

She said she knows a little about what is coming, but thinks it was always that “Westworld” season 1 was meant to be a backstory and set up. The actress added that the first season of the show was meant for the introduction of the characters, as well as the park. “I think Season 2 is really going to be warp speed,” she told Indie Wire. Wood has further teased that the show might really start in season 2.

When asked about her favourite scene, Wood shared that a particular moment in “Westworld” season 1 episode 5 sticks out for her. The said episode has seen Dolores taking out five Confederatos that are holding Jimmi Simpson’s (William) character as hostage.

Wood has confessed that she was actually used to running and was never asked to stay and save the day. That’s when she realised that her character as Dolores is really important.

It is expected that fans will get to see more of Dolores when the show returns in 2018. Official air date for “Westworld” season 2 is yet to be announced.
