When comedian Amy Schumer played a prank on the Time's "top 100 influential couple” Kim Kardashian and Kanye West at one of the most start-studded event, they preferred to ignore it. The 33-year-old “Reality Bites Back” actress fell face down on the red carpet when she saw the “Kimye” couple pose for photographs at the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday. Kim, Kanye and Amy were present at the Lincoln Center for celebrating being on the Time's list for “100 Most Influential People.”

“I saw them and said to my publicist, ‘Can I pretend to fall?’ and she said, ‘I can’t stop you,” Amy is quoted as saying to Time magazine, about the stunt. The stand-up comedian and actress, whose Comedy Central show “Inside Amy Schumer” returns for a new season on Tuesday, took a dive in front of the couple and laid flat on the ground. The picture of her stunt can be seen here while the video can be watched below.

Kanye looked unimpressed by the prank while Kim managed a little smile. However, the couple chose to ignore Amy and continued getting clicked by the photographers. An eye witness told US Weekly that the couple were very “serious” after getting pranked by Amy; who nearly fell on Kim's Sophie Theallet cleavage-revealing black dress.

The “Yeezus” rapper also gave a memorable performance at the star-studded event. Kanye sang his new single “All Day,” from his upcoming album, “So Help Me God.” Amy also told the magazine that she is a fan of the rapper and was happy that Kanye sang her favourite song “Blood on the Leaves” at the event. Kim and Kanye were chosen as the 100 most influential people by Time magazine. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he chose Kanye on the list for being a person who does not believe in “false modesty.” Mush told the magazine that he was impressed by “Kanye’s belief in himself and his incredible tenacity.”

Meanwhile, American television personality and writer Martha Stewart called Kim as “a media phenomenon,” who has 29 million followers on Instagram and 31 million followers on Twitter. She also wrote that Kim is “beautiful in an exotic, totally exaggerated way” and “exudes energy, sexuality, drama, determination, impetuousness and happiness.” Some of the other artists on the Time's Top 100 list are Chris Pratt, Amy Schumer, Julianna Margulies, Alexander Wang, Audra McDonald, Julianne Moore.
