'The Walking Dead: A New Frontier' episode 3 release date on Feb 28 and what to expect from the storyline
Loyal fans of the game “The Walking Dead: A New Frontier” have all the more reason to celebrate this coming month. The developers from TellTale Games have finally announced their third installment for the game, which is called “Above the Law.”
The schedule for the release of the third episode “The Walking Dead: A New Frontier” is on March 1 in Australia, according to EBgames.com.au. Other release dates are on Feb. 28 in North America and March 3 in Europe.
The third episode of the game will introduce a new character and a new storyline along with it. The story will follow the new character Javier Garcia, who is also known as Javi. Due to a case of illegal sports-betting, his professional career as a basketball player is suddenly pulled to a complete halt. Javier is on a quest to look for his family since the zombie apocalypse began.
Javi’s character starts off as a bit immature during the first part of the game. He also tends to wave away and escape from his problems as well. Furthermore, he suffers from self-pity due to the previous mistake that immediately ruined his professional career.
But once Javi has encountered several instances of face to face zombie attacks, he slowly starts to become more mature and responsible. During the course of the game, players will get to see how Javier would grow from a self-loathing and self-centred person into a reliable leader.
Furthermore, Javier gets to meet with the game’s favourite character, Clementine (Clem). Joining her will allow him to understand how Clem has survived the zombie outbreak and why she seeks vengeance.
Players will also get to see how civilisation would once again be rebuilt. But with this new venture comes several sacrifices that must be made in order to make society work again.
The gameplay for the third episode will still remain. Players will get the chance to decide the fate of the characters in the story. They can choose the appropriate action for each particular scenario. They must also keep in mind that whatever option they choose would greatly affect the story and the future turn of events.
“The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" season pass disk is priced as $49.95. Once purchased, players can download the remaining four episodes. The first two episodes of the game is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, iOS, Windows and OS X platforms.
