The announcement of “Batman: The Telltale Series” has driven fans wild with excitement. Some fans may be looking at Batman’s appearance to be quite excessive with the latest game after it was officially launched on Aug. 1.

As the developer of some games in the past that drove decision-making to a limit (The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones), Telltale Games has launched another potential chart-topper in the form of “Batman: The Telltale Series.” As the aforementioned developer states, the theme is to play the role of Bruce Wayne and the “Caped Crusader” alter-ego Batman as he takes on the criminal underworld of Gotham City.

According to The Daily Beast, the method that “Batman: The Telltale Series” looks to approach is identical to that of its predecessors. As a sense of balance, the game will not only inhabit the crime-fighting life of Batman, but also the decisions that require the humane mind and conscience of Bruce Wayne.

The game description is as follows, as seen in Win Beta: “ Enter the fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne and discover the powerful and far-reaching consequences of your choices as the Dark Knight. In this gritty and violent new story from the award-winning creators of The Walking Dead – A Telltale Games Series, you’ll make discoveries that will shatter Bruce Wayne’s world, and the already fragile stability of a corrupt Gotham City. Your actions and your choices will determine the fate of the Batman.”

As the latest Batman game adds to the ever-evolving franchise, an overexposure may be a matter that fans could eventually bring to the table. After being seen in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” a cameo in “Suicide Squad,” the animated R-rated flick “Batman: The Killing Joke” and having another title in the form of “Batman: Arkham Knight,” the masked vigilante has seemed to storm all forms of media without remorse, which some may see a little too much.

In terms of details for “Batman: The Telltale Series”, the game runs at a five-episode streak, with the first one titled “Realm of Shadows” and now officially available. It can be purchased individually or as a whole via “The Complete Season” with the remaining four episodes valid for pre-order.
