The Voice” Season 9 is gearing up for its finale as the NBC show finalised its four contenders. Tuesday’s episode witnessed the cutthroat battle between the hopefuls. The live show was marked by the performances of season 3 winner Cassadee Pope who sang her new song “I Am Invincible,” and Dolly Parton too who mentored the finalists for their performances.

It was then time for the announcement of results by host Carson Daly, who revealed that Jordan Smith from Team Adam was the first contender to make it to the finals. Jordan’s stint on the show so far has been commendable as he is was always praised for his performances.

Emily Ann Roberts from Team Blake was the next contestant to be announced safe on "The Voice." Emily managed to reach the finals owing to her hard work that helped her to improve significantly.

Soon after the second announcement, Dolly Parton performed “Coat of Many Colors” and everyone loved her performance. Daly then took the stage to reveal the future of the remaining seven contenders of the show.

Team Blake’s Barrett Baber was the next contestant who qualified for the final round. Shelby Brown, Amy Vachal and Braiden Sunshine were eliminated from the running. The battle to reach the finals now remain with Team Gwen’s Jeffrey Austin, Team Pharrell’s Madi Davis and Team Blake’s Zach Seabaugh.

The remaining three contenders hop on to the stage for the "instant save." Zach Seabaugh was the first hopeful on the stage who performed Tim McGraw’s “Live Like You Were Dying.” Blake called him a “star” after the performance and complimented Zach for his hard work.

Team Pharrell’s Madi Davis was the next to perform and she sang “Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Crowded House. Pharrell assured Madi that America loves her. Team Gwen’s Jeffery Austin was the last contender to perform for the portion. He delivered a spectacular performance of “Make It Rain” by Ed Sheeran.

Jeffery Austin was declared the winner of the "instant save." Pharrell’s stint on the show came to an end with this as Madi was the only contender in his team.
