There’s no denying that “Fallout 4” is one of the most popular games right now; probably even surpassing this year’s greatest hits like “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” and “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.” As such, Bethesda has rewarded players with a lot of “Fallout” based items. The newest item from the company comes just in time for the Christmas season.

Now already available at the Bethesda store is an ornament set featuring the official mascot of Vaultsbsc-Tec from the “Fallout” series, the Vault Boy. The item was first revealed last week and is now available for pre-order. Although the origins of the beloved character is grim and unfitting for the Christmas season, the ornaments themselves look to be adding joy and flavour to Christmas trees all around.

The $25 (approx. AU$35) set that will begin to ship out on Dec. 4 contains 4 iterations of Vault-Boy. One of which is a Vault-Boy wearing a hat. Bethesda even jokingly said that these items will not boost the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats of their Christmas trees.

“By opening the package, you agree to exempt Vault-Tec from all responsibility warranted or otherwise, for any side-effect or usage, intended or otherwise, of this product. All points are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, so plan accordingly. Failure for these ornaments to increase your tree’s stats is almost certainly your fault, and cannot be held against Vault-Tec or its subsidiaries,” said Bethesda.

The joke is of course referring to the collectible Vault-Boy bobbleheads found within “Fallout 4.” Collecting these bobbleheads will give players a permanent boost to one of the categories in the game’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perk chart.

Overall, there are a total of 20 bobbleheads in “Fallout 4.” The full list of their locations can be seen here at IGN. Players should be wise in spending their earned ability points as they could save up some with the bobbleheads.
